So. Today got off to a rocky start when I woke up sweating, feverish, and barely able to talk. Fortunately, the ibprofen took care of most of that before my parents arrived.
Went window-shopping at Best Buy in the morning and miniature golfing (fun, but hot) in the afternoon. Dad tried to buy a DVR but refused once he saw there weren't any that came free from a subscription to TiVo; he doesn't really see why there *is* a service charge. Neither am I, for that matter, since all he seems to want is a recorder with less hassle than keeping around a bunch of tapes/DVDs.
Also saw the new Pheonix Wright game on sale at Target (now I know what I want for my birthday). Naturally, this led to an inevitable replay of that gay-lawyer-game. I may not be able to resist my urge to seek out/write fanfic this time. Woe, despair, suffering, 4chan-eating-my-soul, etc.
Went to a nice hibachi place for dinner; decent enough. They *did* set the grill on fire, which is all I ever ask from these places (it annoys me that some places don't do this. Come on, what do you think I'm paying 18 bucks for?). I also have leftovers for this week's lunches.
