Hey, it's themed animals day today, kids! And the theme is...

...Butterflies, apparently. I leave for lunch, and there's this huge moth/butterfly thing on the window to Hicks. Slightly bigger than the palm of my hand, with these cool brown spots. Then I get to lunch in the Sci Center, and during lunch, look outside to see a black butterfly with orange and yellow splotches. Then I come back and the moth is STILL there, sunning itself as far as I can tell.

What's really sad is all this beats just about everything else I've been doing lately. At least it's an improvement over the dead rodents.

I've been getting the same thing today: lots of black and orange or black and yellow butterflies.
